New Nephrologist Dr. Suma Kumaran Joins Cookeville Regional

Cookeville Regional Medical Center proudly welcomes Sharmil Suma Kumaran, M.D., nephrologist, to its medical staff. He has joined the practice of Cumberland Kidney and Diabetes Specialists.

Dr. Suma Kumaran received his medical degree from Government Medical College, University of Calicut in Kozhikode, India. He completed his residency at the Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education in Scranton, Pennsylvania and a fellowship in nephrology and hypertension at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York.
