Cookeville Regional Medical Center now offers outpatient telepsychiatry services, expanding access to high-quality mental health care through secure virtual visits. Through a partnership with QLER Telepsychiatry, patients can connect with board-certified psychiatrists while receiving care coordinated locally through Cookeville Regional.

This service helps address the growing need for psychiatric care in our region by reducing wait times and removing barriers to access, all while maintaining the personal, patient-centered approach our community expects.

What Is Telepsychiatry?

Telepsychiatry allows patients to meet with a licensed psychiatrist through a secure video visit. Appointments are conducted in a private, confidential setting and follow the same clinical standards as in-person psychiatric care.

Patients receive professional evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management when appropriate, without the need to travel long distances.

 

Services Offered

Telepsychiatry services are provided in partnership with QLER Telepsychiatry, a physician-owned, The Joint Commission-accredited organization that partners with hospitals nationwide to improve access to psychiatric care.

Outpatient telepsychiatry at Cookeville Regional may include care for:

    • Depression and mood disorders
    • Anxiety disorders
    • Bipolar disorder
    • ADHD
    • Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
    • Other mental and behavioral health conditions

Care plans are tailored to each patient’s needs, with an emphasis on continuity, safety, and long-term wellness.

Meet the Experts

Patients at Cookeville Regional may be seen by Dr. Jeffrey F. Liubicich, a board-certified psychiatrist with extensive experience in both traditional and telemedicine-based psychiatric care. Dr. Liubicich is fluent in English and Spanish and is currently accepting new patients.
