Originally from Asheville, North Carolina, Dr. Beaty chose Cookeville Regional Medical Center for the community based hospital and regional referral center, advanced and progressive pharmacy practice, and the ability to serve as a valued member of the medical team.

His interests include toxicology, critical care, and pediatrics.

In his spare time, Dr. Beaty enjoys paddle boarding on local lakes and rivers and hiking around the numerous waterfalls. He also enjoys all things biking, competing on a local race team and is planning an endurance bike packing trip.
