AED/CPR Classes
Getting certified in CPR, AED and first aid training, along with basic life saving skills at Cookeville Regional Medical Center is easy.
We offer two paths of training for CPR at Cookeville Regional.
Heartsaver First Aid, CPR AED
Designed for non-medical persons such as daycare, private sitters or anyone needing training for their job. Each participant will receive a workbook (included with the course at no extra charge) and a two-year certification from the American Heart Association upon completion. The class is four and half hours and cost $70.
BLS Heartcode
This course is designed for healthcare providers and includes Adult, Child and Infant CPR and AED training. There is an online portion to this training. Select a class for complete details. Each participant will receive a two-year certification from the American Heart Association upon completion. The skills check off portion of this course is approximately 70 minutes.
At Cookeville Regional Medical Center, we follow the American Heart guidelines to offer up to date, state of the art training. We practice social distancing and each student will have their own manikin which provides feedback of their progress in real time.
