Cookeville Regional Medical Center has been named one of America’s 50 Best Hospitals for Outpatient Orthopedic Surgery in 2024 and top 5% in the nation, according to new research released by Healthgrades, the leading resource consumers use to find a hospital or doctor. The hospitals that have achieved Healthgrades America’s 50 Best Hospitals for Outpatient Orthopedic Surgery have demonstrated exceptional quality of care in outpatient back and neck surgery, outpatient rotator cuff surgery, outpatient total hip replacement, and outpatient total knee replacement.
That is not all. Cookeville Regional also received Five-Star ratings in Back and Neck surgery, Coronary Bypass surgery, Gallbladder Removal surgery, and Treatment of Diabetic Hospitalizations. These five-star ratings reflect Cookeville Regional’s commitment to consistently delivering the best care possible and place the organization in the upper echelon of hospitals for specialty care nationwide.

Cookeville Regional’s achievement is part of the findings in the Healthgrades 2024 hospital assessment, which evaluated patient mortality and complication rates for 35 common conditions and procedures at approximately 4,500 hospitals nationwide to identify the top performers.
