Cookeville Regional Medical Center and Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center are collaborating to bring advanced cancer care to Cookeville and the surrounding 14-county region. The Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center is a recognized leader in cancer diagnosis, treatment, and research.

Medical oncologists, radiation oncologists and Advanced Practice Provider nurses from Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center (VICC) will offer medical oncology,
radiation oncology and infusion services and other care to cancer patients.

Working as a team, we are committed to delivering the best in cancer care to patients with world-class technologies, services and clinical trials.

You don’t have to travel far from home to receive the latest advances in cancer care. We give you access to specialists, treatments, clinical trials and genetic testing.

You are never alone in your journey, because the heart of our mission is to provide you with the best care possible, in any and every way we can.


 

At the Cancer Center at Cookeville Regional Medical Center (CRMC), we are here to support you every step of the way in your cancer care journey, including managing billing and insurance concerns.

CRMC will handle all billing for services provided at the Cancer Center, including both facility and physician charges. For your convenience:

  • You will receive a billing from CRMC for services provided by the Cancer Center and for the professional care delivered by VICC providers.
  • If your treatment requires care at a Vanderbilt Health-owned facility, only then will you receive a bill from VICC.

This includes any Blue Cross Blue Shield Medicare Advantage Plans, Blue Shield plans, BCBS Networks P, S (including individual exchange plans). Meet the Experts

Cancer can be an overwhelming diagnosis, but the team of experts at the
Cancer Center at Cookeville Regional Medical Center will be by your side the
entire time, from diagnosis to treatment to survivorship.

Medical oncologists, radiation oncologists and Advanced Practice Provider nurses
from Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center (VICC) will offer medical oncology,
radiation oncology and infusion services and other care to cancer patients.
Under terms of the agreement, Vanderbilt clinicians will be the exclusive providers
of these services and have an onsite administrative director for oncology oversight.
