Sleep Center Representative
Education: High school graduate
Experience: A minimum of two years medical office experience preferred
Skills: Knowledge of general office procedures, proficient keyboarding skills, knowledge of general office equipment. Experience of and basic knowledge of computer software including word processing; and the ability to learn new software quickly. Must process ability to work well under pressure, to function independently, and to be flexible in applying knowledge to a variety of situation. Must deal with organization, personnel and public demands. Must possess strong oral and written communication skills, diplomacy and tact; demonstrates personal traits of high-level motivation, team orientation, professionalism, and trustworthiness. Places high value on treating others with dignity and respect.
This position is responsible for scheduling, insurance verification, and registration of sleep center and EEG patients.
