ER Registration Team Lead

Type: FT
Education: GED or High School Diploma Required. CHAA Certification for Registration Rep II.
Hours: 10a-10:30p Sun and 3p-11p M, T, W
Experience: Previous experience preferred in a medical setting involving clerical and basic medical terminology. Minimum of one year of clerical office setting required.
Description:

This position is responsible for serving as first impression of the hospital while initiating the registration processes in a professional and consistent manner by assuring prompt and proper treatment for all patients. This position will gather patient demographic and insurance information along with discussing the patient’s financial responsibilities while adhering to the EMTALA laws governing emergency room patients. Other duties as assigned.

 

 

BC/ER/Switchboard Supervisor

Type: FT
Education: GED Required, High School Graduate Preferred.
Hours: VARIED
Experience: Previous management experience in a healthcare environment and or minimum of 2 year experience in Registration.
Description:

This position is responsible for direct supervision to all ER Registration and communication staff. The supervisor insures professional service consistent with courtesy and confidentiality requirements of the hospital and the department. The supervisor safeguards the insurance and/or patient responsibilities to the facility. Supervisor often would serve as first impression to visitors, family members, and patients of Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Other duties as assigned.

Registration Representative

Type: PRN
Education: GED required, High School Graduate Preferred
Hours: VARIED
Experience: 1 to 3 years general clerical required. Previous experience preferred in a medical setting involving clerical and basic medical terminology. Minimum of one year of clerical office setting required.
Description:

This position is responsible for serving as first impression of the hospital while initiating the registration processes in a professional and consistent manner by assuring prompt and proper treatment for all patients. Will perform certain functions on the front end of the registration process, which decreases the wait time for patients and hospital departments.
