Education: High School Diploma or GED
Hours: 8a-5p
Experience: Required experience of at least 6 months in a medical front office setting.
Skills: Required: Knowledge of general office equipment including phone, fax, copier, computer. Excellent telephone etiquette. Good computer skills with knowledge of computerized scheduling, Knowledge of insurance carriers. Keyboarding skills, Basic understanding medical terminology. Strong Interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task.

This position is responsible for serving as the first impression of the physician office while initiating the registration processes in a professional, courteous and consistent manner by assuring prompt and proper treatment for all patients. 

Nurse Practitioner

Type: FT
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing Master’s program or Masters of Medical Science Physician Assistant Studies. Evidence of continuing education. Current unrestricted Tennessee licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse and RN or Physician Assistant. Must hold a National Certification in a Nursing Specialty Area
Hours: Varied
Experience: Minimum one year experience preferred.
Skills: Advanced Practice Nursing Skills.


Under the direct or indirect supervision of a licensed physician, the Advanced Nurse Clinician/Physician Assistant assesses patients’ Medical/surgical conditions, administers treatments under physician orders or in conformity with usual practice, advises and counsels patients or their legal guardian of patient problems.  This privilege does not include the practice of obtaining informed consent.  Demonstrates  knowledge of the psychosocial needs, clinical assessment implications, and/or consequences of technology.
