Authorization, Pre Cert, Scheduler

Experience: Minimum twelve months experience working in a physician group practice in the pre-cert, referral or scheduling department
Skills: Knowledge of general office machines, good computer skills. Comfortable using email and interacting with computer applications. Knowledge of practice management and word processing software. Ability to perform multiple and diverse tasks simultaneously. Must have a neat and professional appearance. Strong written and verbal communication skills and cheerful attitude. Able to enter data into the computer system accurately. Adapt well to changing priorities.
Description:

Under the direction of the CRMG Director of Practice Operations, the CRMG APS Specialist processes orders placed by CRMG providers via CPOE in Athena Health EMR.  The APS Specialist is expected to verify member eligibility via Athena Health EMR and will assure that the appropriate payers’ have been identified and payers’ requirements have been met.  This position is also responsible for notifying the ordering provider if the patient has terminated coverage, any issues encountered with scheduling a referral or procedure/test.  If applicable forward the order to Authorization Management in Athena Health EMR to document all events in Athena Health EMR by responding to request per CRMG workflows.  The APS Specialist will be responsible for following through on every order to ensure that it was scheduled timely.  They are not; however, responsible for verifying receipt of the result/procedure/surgery/consultation note or non-compliance letters.  They are to coordinate with the CRMG providers on the provision of care to minimize the process necessary for the provider to achieve access for their patient.  They will provide education to the CRMG provider and clinical staff regarding regulatory and process requirements. 

 

Patient Representative

Experience: Required experience of at least 6 months in a medical front office setting.
Skills: Required: Knowledge of general office equipment including phone, fax, copier, computer. Excellent telephone etiquette. Good computer skills with knowledge of computerized scheduling, Knowledge of insurance carriers. Keyboarding skills, Basic understanding medical terminology. Strong Interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task.

This position is responsible for serving as the first impression of the physician office while initiating the registration processes in a professional, courteous and consistent manner by assuring prompt and proper treatment for all patients. 

LPN

Type: FT
Education: Graduate of a school of practical Nursing. Current Tennessee LPN license.
Hours: 8a-5p M-F
Experience: Experience of at least 6 months in a physician’s office setting or 2 yrs experience in direct patient care at a medical facility.
Skills: BLS required at hire or during orientation.
Description:

This position is responsible for providing nursing care utilizing the nursing process within an assigned unit; observes, assesses, treats and cares for patients demonstrating an understanding of the cognitive, physical, emotional and chronological maturation process.  Oversees the work of non-licensed personnel.
