Education: Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Hours: Days, Varied
Experience: 1-3 years experience/training in biomedical engineering field preferred. Basic knowledge of electronics technology required including preventative maintenance and repair/ service of complex medical systems; responsible for maintenance and record keeping for each piece of equipment which falls under the responsibility of the Clinical Electronics Department; maintains code requirements, new/repaired equipment testing, and records to ensure compliance with local, state, TCJ, and federal regulations; monitors work performed by outside contractors; monitors parts/equipment inventory; must possess ability to work well under pressure, to function independently and dependently, and to be flexible in applying knowledge to a variety of situations.
Description:

This position is responsible for providing and documenting, under supervision, preventative and corrective maintenance on biomedical equipment in a cost-effective manner. Other duties as assigned.
