Cookeville Regional Medical Center has an established nurse residency program to ease the transition from student to practicing professional nurse during the first year of employment.
Cookeville Regional is committed to building on the knowledge and skills you acquired throughout your nursing education, providing you with tools and resources necessary for success.
Qualifications
Program qualifications:
- New graduate RN or LPN
- New hire nurse (RN or LPN) with less than one year experience
Nurse residency features:
- Three cohorts per year — January, June and September
- Detailed onboarding process
- Unit specific orientation with preceptor
- Nurse residency essentials for professional development
- Program support from nursing leadership
