Buffy Key Selected As Next CRMC CEO
The Cookeville Regional Medical Center Board of Trustees unanimously selected interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Buffy Key to become the next permanent CEO at its Thursday, July 27 meeting, pending contract discussions.
“It’s my opinion that our medical center would be well-served with Buffy Key as CEO,” said outgoing board member Kevin Carter.
The Board of Trustees voted to authorize the board’s Executive Subcommittee to negotiate and finalize a contract with Key for the CEO appointment. That subcommittee will meet with Key in the upcoming weeks to conduct negotiations and will report the status of the contract to the full board at August’s regularly scheduled board meeting.
