Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is used to treat some medical conditions and is also used in treatment of certain kinds of advanced wounds. The treatment takes place in a chamber that you can see out of.

You lie on a stretcher inside the chamber where you can watch TV, read a book or watch a movie.

The chamber is pressurized, with patients breathing 100-percent oxygen. Your blood carries the extra oxygen and takes it to your injured area to promote better and quicker healing.
