The Cookeville Cafe offers a wide array of products including made-to-order omelets, pancakes and waffles, pizza, made-to-order sandwiches and subs, salad bar, soups, chicken tenders, wings, burgers, specialty salads, fresh homemade desserts and pastry items.

Vending machines are available in the Cafe Visitors Seating Area, Emergency Department, The Birthing Center Waiting Area, Same Day Surgery Unit, The Rehabilitation Center, Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab, 3rd Floor, 4th Floor and 6th Floor.

Nutrition services are available 7 days a week. Nursing assesses all inpatients within 24 hours of admission to identify patients at nutritional risk and refers to nutrition services per specified criteria. Clinical Nutrition Services may be reached at 931-783-2160 or 931-783-2611. Services of the Registered Dietitians include nutrition assessments, patient and family diet education for inpatients and outpatients, nutrition support recommendations, and community education.

Café Sienna
Located on the first floor of the North Patient Tower, the Café Sienna (coffee shop) offers a wide selection of gourmet and specialty coffees including cappuccino’s, lattes, mochas and expresso.  Café Sienna also serves muffins, bagels, fresh fruit and lunch items including sandwiches, chips and fresh baked cookies.  A wide variety of bottled drinks are also available.

Room Service Dining

Room Service Dining

Patients get the food they want, when they want it, prepared just for them.

Room Service is the patient dining service program at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. This service provides a restaurant-style menu and bedside meal service to our patients.

Meals are ordered from a special bedside menu, provided in the patient room, by dialing extension 3663 (FOOD) on the patient's room telephone. Operators assist patients in making meal choices that are appropriate for any physician-ordered special diet.

Patients are served breakfast, lunch and dinner. Meals may be ordered at any time between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. and will be delivered to patients in approximately 30 minutes.

Meals may be requested at each mealtime or ordered for the whole day.

All orders should be placed 30 to 45 minutes prior to desired delivery time.

Snacks and supplements between meals, as allowed within diet guidelines, can be ordered by calling FOOD ext. 3663 and delivered by Food Service personnel. Some snacks and supplements are available only by a physician or dietitian order.

Room service dining represents a revolution in hospital patient dining. All food is made to order, which gives patients more flexibility. Room service is designed to handle special or restricted diets. The advanced computer system enables the trained operator who takes the orders to identify when a patient is on a restricted diet and whether the item ordered complies with that diet. If the food item selected isn't recommended, the operator will offer the patient a compatible alternative.

All Room Service ordering is tracked by computer, so should a patient for any reason neglect to order a meal, an operator will phone the patient to see what he or she would like. A Hospitality Assistant is available to personally visit any patient who is unable to phone in a meal order.

Caregivers' Tray
Caregivers staying with the patient may also order from Room Service Dining for a nominal fee anytime between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.  Ask the Room Service Dining operator for more information.

We deliver fresh great-tasting meals; we prepare and set up your special event with attention to detail and excellent customer service. The Cookeville Cafe accepts cash, debit and all major credit cards.

Our crafted menus offer a wide variety of delicious foods. We can provide Helping Hand Hors'deurves, Continental Breakfast items; Angel's Heavenly Breakfast is available if you desire a hot breakfast menu including chocolate gravy upon request. Lunch items include pre-made sandwiches, pasta plates, BBQ, Pizza, soups, specialty salad's, box lunches, boxed salad's, chicken strips, or enjoy an afternoon sweet Mike's Munchies delight of assorted cookies, brownies, fruit, sodas, candy bars or even banana splits!

Need a lunch or dinner specialty? Try our entrees that include favorites such as Grilled Rib Eye, Caribbean Chicken, Ham, Turkey, Roast Beef, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Grilled Pork Chops or Chicken Kiev. These specialty menus include choice of vegetables, dinner rolls with butter and choice of delicious desserts.
