Description:

This position is responsible for the upkeep of all HVAC/refrigeration and air handling systems consistent with the Medical Center’s strategies and objectives.  Included:  Assist the Plant Facilities Supervisor in meeting compliance with city, state, federal, NFPA and JCAHO regulations relating applicable codes.  Installation, troubleshoot, preventive maintenance, repair and service to all HVAC/refrigeration systems. Performs boiler watch, and helps other trades as needed/requested.  Responsible for completing assigned task within the PM program.  Performs other duties as assigned/requested.  Maintains excellent working relationships with other hospital departments. Supports and carries out the hospital policies and procedures.  Supports the Department Director, Supervisor, and department staff.

  1. EDUCATION: 

            High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

 

  1. EXPERIENCE: 
  1. Trade school with courses in A/C, refrigeration, electrical required.
  2. Experience in another health care facility desirable.
  3. Must have minimum of three years previous experience.
  4. Computer experience needed.
  5. PLC knowledge desirable.
  6. Knowledge of chillers desirable.

  1. Must have good working knowledge of current city, state, federal, NFPA and JCAHO regulations relating applicable codes.

Low Voltage Technician Apply

Description:

This position is responsible for coordinating and implementation of all cable installation requests.  Responsible for hospital-wide cable system to include but not limited to the following: Data cable, telecommunication cable, paging, nurse call, TV cable, telemetry cable, fiber optics, etc.  Manage and maintain the integrity of all fire and smoke walls.  Develop procedures to support cable management such as routing and color coding.  Mapping of new and existing cables (Network). Working with low voltage cable, conduit and circuits. Pulling and terminating wiring cable such as Cat 5E or 6. Working on DC battery systems. Trimming out security devices. Programming video surveillance equipment. Installing and wiring alarm panels. Working with coaxial cables, category rated cables and fiber optics. Testing and adjusting connections to diagnose problems. Analyzing schematics, blueprints, and drawings of low voltage electronic systems.   All other duties as assigned by the Director.

 

  1. EDUCATION: 

            High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  1. EXPERIENCE: 
  1. Minimum 3 years experience
  2. Prefer certification Cat 5, 6 and Fiber Optics
  3. Vocational and apprenticeship in the trade desirable.

Description:

This position is responsible for the construction, repair, remodel and/or maintenance of the hospital campus consistent with the Medical Center's strategies and objectives.  Included:  Assist the Supervisor of Plant Facilities in meeting compliance with city, state, federal, NFPA and JCAHO regulations relating applicable codes.  According to assignment, job responsibilities may include: demolition duties, repair/upkeep and remodel of existing structures, construction of new structures, and maintenance of interior surfaces (floors, walls, ceiling), preparing surfaces and applying floor tile, paint, varnish, vinyl or ceiling tile as appropriate in all areas of the hospital complex and off site locations of CRMC.  According to assignment, may also include: installing, maintaining and repairing the lock/key system including: locks, door locks, panic hardware, drug boxes, door closures, file cabinets, desks, lockers, etc.  May coordinate specific construction projects of the campus including HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems and assist in the development, implementation and modification of specific construction projects if assigned.  Performs boiler watch.  Maintains excellent working relationships with other hospital departments. Description:

This position is responsible for the overall painting requests, upkeep and maintenance of the hospital campus consistent with the Medical Center's strategies and objectives.  Included:  Assist the Director/Supervisor of Plant Facilities in meeting compliance with city, state, federal, NFPA and JCAHO regulations relating applicable codes.  According to assignment, job responsibilities may include: Read blueprints/instructions and examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary. Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures etc. Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc. Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material. Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture. Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools. Apply varnish and other finish. Calculate costs and negotiate prices. Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions as appropriate in all areas of the hospital complex and off site locations of CRMC. Maintains complete safety records.  Maintains excellent working relationships with other hospital departments. Supports and carries out the hospital policies and procedures.  Supports the Department Director, Supervisor, and department staff.

1. EDUCATION:  High school diploma or equivalent required.

2.EXPERIENCE: 

  1. 3+ years proven experience as a painter
  2. Excellent knowledge of painting material and how to select, mix and apply them
  3. Solid knowledge of commercial and/or construction painting techniques
  4. Aptitude in using appropriate tools (brushes, caulking guns etc.)
  5. Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on scaffolding, ladders etc.
  6. Conscientious with great attention to detail
  7. High school diploma; successful completion of an apprenticeship
