Description:

This position is responsible for serving as first impression of the hospital while initiating the registration processes in a professional and consistent manner by assuring prompt and proper treatment for all patients.  Will perform certain functions on the front end of the registration process, which decreases the wait time for patients and hospital departments. 

EDUCATION:   High School Diploma or GED.

EXPERIENCE:  Previous experience preferred in a medical setting involving clerical and basic medical terminology. Minimum of one year of clerical office setting required.

SKILLS:  Knowledge of general office machines, procedure and computers.

Description:

This position is responsible for one on one training of all new registration staff.  This position provides continuing education for employees to insure accuracy and consistency throughout the registration process. 

 

  1. EDUCATION:  High School Diploma, CHAA (Certified Healthcare Access Assistant) at the time of hire or within one year of position acceptance. BLS certification.

 

  1. EXPERIENCE:  A minimum of two years experience in Patient Registration and previous experience in Patient Financial Service.

 

  1. SKILLS:  Good communication skills, computer knowledgeable
