Description:

This position is responsible for direct supervision to all Cardiac Imaging Center, Outpatient Imaging Center, and Physical Therapy staff. The supervisor insures professional service consistent with courtesy and confidentiality requirements of the hospital and the department. The supervisor safeguards the insurance and/or patient responsibilities to the facility. Supervisor often would serve as first impression to visitors, family members, and patients of Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

 

  1. EDUCATION:  High School diploma or GED.  BLS certification.

 

  1. EXPERIENCE:  Previous management experience in a healthcare environment and or minimum of 2 year experience in Registration. Certification in CHAA and or CPAR preferred. 

 

  1. SKILLS:   Must possess knowledge of medical terminology, computers and general office equipment.

This position is responsible for serving as first impression of the hospital while initiating the registration processes in a professional and consistent manner by assuring prompt and proper treatment for all patients.  Will perform certain functions on the front end of the registration process, which decreases the wait time for patients and hospital departments. 

EDUCATION:   High School Diploma or GED.

EXPERIENCE:  Previous experience preferred in a medical setting involving clerical and basic medical terminology. Minimum of one year of clerical office setting required.

SKILLS:  Knowledge of general office machines, procedure and computers.
