This position is responsible for performing & documenting phlebotomy procedures, bleeding times; receiving, processing, recording, & distributing specimens; & for performing secretarial duties for the laboratory areas on neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult & geriatric patient specimens to obtain samples for use in laboratory testing in accordance with CRMC & profession standards of practice; maintaining all aspects of quality assurance & improvement; providing rapid & accurate collection of specimens & technical assistance; relaying & documenting information appropriately; & models appropriate behavior as exemplified in the CRMC Mission and Values statement.


  1. EDUCATION:  A high school diploma or equivalent is required. CMA required.  CRMG Phlebotomist II Current registry as a certified/registered phlebotomist from a national board of certification (ASCP, AMT, CAP, NCA) is preferred.


  1. EXPERIENCE:  Minimum of one (1) year experience under a qualified director is preferred.


  1. SKILLS:  Problem resolution, continuous quality improvement, quality assurance, and data result documentation.  Proficiency in applying clerical principles, concepts, and techniques; in verbal & written communication that are central to the discipline.

This position is responsible for facilitating patient flow in the office setting to ensure an accurate and complete medical record for each patient. Assists medical provider by accompanying them to record details into the Electronic Medical Record.


  1. EDUCATION: High School Diploma. Graduate of an accredited school for Medical Assistants with Certification as medical assistant Participation in continuing education programs, in-services/workshops is required as based on departmental needs.


2.         EXPERIENCE: Prior experience in a healthcare setting helpful, but not required.


3.         SKILLS: 

  • Working knowledge of medical terminology and accepted abbreviations
  •  Recognition of physical exam process and ability to record exam details
  •  Legible handwriting and ability to accurately record information
  • Computer proficiency and ability to quickly learn new applications
  • Communication skills and the ability to coordinate and cooperate with

            multiple members of the health care team

This position is responsible for certified medical office assistant duties with the physician office.


  1. EDUCATION:  High School Diploma. Graduate of an accredited school for Medical Assistants. Certification as medical assistant required.  Participation in continuing education programs, in-services/workshops is required as based on departmental needs.


  1. EXPERIENCE: Front and/or back office experience in medical setting is required as well as public relations.  Previous employment in medical office clinic or setting is required with at least 3 months experience.


     3.   SKILLS:  Must possess knowledge of general office procedures, typing skills, knowledge

           of office equipment and supplies; proficient knowledge of computers and various software.  Must

           have a complete command of medical terminology, the ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary

           team, manage multiple tasks and function independently.  Must be able to adapt to changing work

           environment and work well under pressure.



This position is responsible for providing nursing care utilizing the nursing process within an assigned unit; observes, assesses, treats and cares for patients demonstrating an understanding of the cognitive, physical, emotional and chronological maturation process.  Oversees the work of non-licensed personnel. 


1.         EDUCATION: Graduate of a school of practical Nursing.  Current Tennessee LPN license.        


2.         EXPERIENCE: . Experience of at least 6 months in a physician’s office setting or 2 yrs experience in direct patient care at a medical facility.


3.         SKILLS:  BLS required at hire or during orientation.
