Programs Coordinator Apply

The Programs Coordinator is responsible for coordinating Foundation Restricted Funds and Charitable Programs, ensuring that donor funds are used appropriately within fund guidelines and support is developed and maintained to ensure the growth of charitable services.This position will interact with management, hospital staff, medical staff, board members, community leaders, clients, donors, patients and the general public.


1. EDUCATION: Minimum of a High School education or equivalent. Post Secondary Degree Preferred



  • Three (3) years experience in accounting, bookkeeping or office administration
  • Experience using QuickBooks or accounting software
  • Experience in customers service or community outreach
  • Software proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook required
  • Demonstrated ability to: juggle priorities, motivate volunteers toward objectives, remain pleasant and professional under pressure, maintain confidential information, create detailed and organized records
  • Experience in non-profit sector preferred
  • Post-secondary degree preferred
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating committee meetings and group problem solving
  • Knowledge of donor software such as Donor Perfect or Raisers Edge preferred
  • Experience in non-profit sector preferred


3. SKILLS:  Must exhibit excellent people skills, be a good listener and understand the importance of confidentiality. Computer literate and skilled in Microsoft Word, Outlook,  Donor Perfect, Quick Books (required), Excel, Access and willing to learn a donor software program.
